Sunday March 21st
Mets vs. Nationals
Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer faced off on Sunday in what was considered an Opening Day preview.
deGrom pitched 4.2 scoreless innings, while striking out five.
Scherzer pitched 5 innings, giving up four runs and striking out six.
Mets Michael Conforto hit a solo home run.
Mets Francisco Lindor hit a 2-run home run.
Yankees vs. Blue Jays
Yankees Gerrit Cole pitched five innings, giving up one run and striking out eight.
Blue Jays Marcus Semien hit a home run.
Blue Jays Teoscar Hernandez hit a home run.
Angels vs. Padres
Shohei Ohtani pitched four innings of one-run ball and also went 2-2 at the plate.
Padres Blake Snell pitched 3.1 innings giving up no runs and striking out three.

Orioles Ryan Mountcastle went 2-4, driving in two runs and scoring two runs.
Tigers Matt Manning lasted two innings in his spring start. He gave up two runs, scattered three hits, and walked two.

Indians Shane Bieber tossed four scoreless innings while striking out six.
Mariners prospects Julio Rodriguez and Jarred Kelenic both hit solo home runs.
