Get Your Popcorn Ready: The Major Games Heading Into Week 12

Week 12 of the NFL season is here and these are the major keys and games that you should know heading into Sunday's games.

Early Games:

Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints

Can the Panthers pull off the upset against division rival Saints?

These types of games are always exciting to watch, because these teams know each other so well. The Saints, have one of the best offenses in the league with Drew Brees and Michael Thomas not to mention Alvin Kamara, while Christian McCaffrey is having an MVP type season for the Panthers. Kyle Allen will have to step up in this one if the Panthers want any chance of winning in the Mercedes Superdome. Allen has not been bad as the replacement for Cam Newton this season, going 5-3 in his absence. Allen will need to duplicate what he did last season, winning 33-17 in a Week 17 matchup. I think the Saints will come out hard in this one, putting up points quick and in a hurry.

Prediction: Saints pull away in the second half and win 35-20.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Eagles look to find their wings after heartbreaking loss to Patriots.

After losing in a Super Bowl 52 rematch against the Patriots, I think the Eagles will find their offense but will it be enough to stop the Seahawks? This is the tough question heading into this one, Russell Wilson is playing the best that he has ever played and has enough offensive weapons to be dangerous. The Seattle defense is also going to be a challenge for the Eagles to score against. Jadeveon Clowney has been wrecking havoc ever since Seattle signed him earlier this season but is questionable with a sore hip and don't forget about Bobby Wagner one of the best linebackers in the game. This game will be a good one, with both teams trying to stay atop their divisions and ultimately stay in the NFC playoff picture.

Prediction: This game will come down to the wire, Seattle wins 24-21.

Late Games:

Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots

Can Dallas pull off a miracle in Foxboro?

This is the game of the week, two iconic franchises meeting face to face in what should be a game for the ages. Starting with the Cowboys, their offense will have to somehow score against the best defense in the league this year. If Ezekiel Elliott can get going on the ground, Dallas will have to play the run game the whole game for them to win. I think Amari Cooper and company will get shutdown by the Patriot secondary consisting of Stephon Gilmore and the McCourty twins. For New England to win, they have to just play Patriot football, Dallas has to get pressure on Brady every snap. New England rarely ever loses at home and that can factor into the outcome of the game.

Overall the game should be great, some saying that this could be the game of the season.

Prediction: Patriots defense stops Prescott and Elliott, New England wins 23-13.

Sunday Night Game:

Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers

Can 49ers continue their dominance under the Sunday night lights?

The final key game on Sunday will be a battle consisting of two teams atop the NFC. Rodgers and the Packers are always hard to beat, even when they are not at home. Getting Davante Adams back from injury helps their cause, adding one more weapon to Rodgers arsenal. The 49ers have come out of nowhere this season, atop the NFC West division at 9-1. This is a challenging game for San Francisco, even though they are at home and are the favorite. Rodgers always finds a way to win in these tough game situations where his team is the underdog. Bottom line, never bet against Aaron Rodgers.

Prediction: Packers pull off upset and win 30-27
