Adam's Baseball Breakdowns: An Introduction

With baseball season coming to an end for about five months, I have decided to begin a new series simply titled: Adam's Baseball Breakdowns.

Thinking of the title took a little bit of brain power, as I did not want it to be too cheesy, but I think it will do, as I can always change it in the future. The actual series will be all about baseball, but in a different mindset, as I want to try to keep those baseball juices flowing going into and throughout the offseason.

Originally, my plan was to do some sort of Jacob deGrom project over the offseason, but after thinking for awhile, I really wanted to add in some variety and not focus on just one player, as I could ramble on and on and on about how incredibly, awesome, good, and fantastic Jacob deGrom is. After awhile though, that would probably get a bit boring to you all. So, after debating my previous idea and whether or not to publish my original idea titled, the "deGrom Project" that I currently have saved in my drafts, I came up with this idea instead, to kind of expand the topic of baseball in general.

In a nutshell, I will be giving my breakdown, case, ideas, or whatever word you want to use on whatever baseball topic comes into my brain and write about it to the best of my ability. Whether that topic be something like: the shift, certain baseball analytics, comparing top prospects to major leaguers, the minor leagues in general, breaking down previous games, retrospectives, answering specific baseball questions, and everything in between, my hope and goal of this series is to expand anyone's knowledge of baseball to whoever decided to click on this article.

Usually, the majority of the time I will post my thoughts and predictions on current baseball news and what is currently happening in the league. This idea though, I hope will somehow broaden my blog as a whole. My main goal of the series, is to see the bigger picture of baseball, to share it with others, and not just focus on what is currently happening in the game of baseball, as I previously mentioned. Sure, I may post current news in this series, but looking towards the future or looking back on the past in baseball is a must for me, as it strengthens my knowledge of the sport. As a result, bringing that mindset to my readers is something that I genuinely love to do!

Final Thoughts: This post was a bit shorter, but I wanted to give you all an introduction and heads up to what is going to be happening on my blog in the future.
